Mandy and Andrew wanted some playful and less formal photos taken of their family of five. We took a couple of hours and just played around their neighborhood playground — you can’t get less formal than that! This type of shoot is my favorite, because it gives me some time with each child. I take them aside while the others play and we chat and goof around. Slowly as they become more comfortable with me, I can ease their personalities out. This often results in “now THAT’S Lucy!” response from their parents. Those are the best photos in my opinion—candid and genuine. 🙂
